a Broward County "NatureScope" sanctuary environment that features native plants

The house is also just
a five minute walk away
from the Richardson Historic Park and Nature Preserve featuring a river
boardwalk, observation pier, pavilions, nature trails and kayak rentals.
You're also just a bike ride away from the white sand of Fort Lauderdale Beach and Las Olas Boulevard's excellent
waterfront restaurants and shops. For nightlife, Fort Lauderdale's
Performing Arts Center and clubs are also nearby, and Wilton Drive restaurants
and entertainment is just a short stroll from your comfortable tropical getaway.
This classic
Florida-style cottage is shaded by large palms and flowering trees. The
garden includes a heated spa large enough for a group of six. Adjacent to
the garden is an authentic Florida room that is sheltered by a roof and can be
closed off from the elements, but is usually open to the soft, enveloping
tropical air. The Florida room includes conversational seating, dining
area for six, and a built in television. Mexican tile flooring leads into
the open garden where there is a gas grill, al fresco dining area, and lounge
chairs beside the spa.
Inside, there are
Mexican tile floors throughout, and French doors in nearly every room invite in
the tropical ambience of the garden and walkway. The classic two-bedroom
cottage was recently renovated. Cathedral ceilings soar over the living
areas, and the stainless steel appliances and fully-equipped kitchen are ready
for entertaining. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, and there is a
double bed in the guest room. There is also a futon couch in the Florida
room for overnight guests.
