New professional landscaping is featured both front and back, while the outdoor living space boasts a sparkling new swimming pool, an expansive tiled patio for lounging and outdoor eating, and a gorgeous private yard surrounded by royal palms, coconut palms, flowering shrubs, decorative grasses, and a beautiful stand of bamboo. The Middle River leading to the Intercoastal Waterway is just around the corner, and Fort Lauderdale's award-winning Blue Wave beaches are a short one-mile drive or bike ride from you. You can easily walk to Starbucks or take advantage of the extensive selection of shops and restaurants on Federal Highway that are just a few blocks away.

The interior of Casa Calmare has also recently been complete renovated. An open floor plan focuses on the bright gourmet kitchen, which has been outfitted and lighted for entertaining and serves as a focal point between the large dining room and comfortable, inviting sunken living room. Attractive terrazzo and tile floors are featured throughout the house, complementing the contemporary furnishings.

Casa Calmare has two full baths and two bedrooms (each with queen-size beds), plus a queen-size sleep sofa in the living room for extra guests. The master bedroom suite and living room each include an armoire that contains both TV and DVD player. The living room is also equipped with a stereo, a Bose surround sound speaker system (great for movie watching), an iPod connection and a 100-disc CD player, so you can plan your evening's party music ahead and concentrate on entertaining your guests. For your convenience, there is a phone for incoming a local calls or hooking up your laptop to the Internet. Outside, there's a gas grill and terrace furnishings that invite alfresco dining by the pool. All linens are provided, including pool and beach towels, and the fully outfitted kitchen includes a washer and dryer.
