Corporate executive Scott Michaels has more than 20 years
experience in successful business leadership. As founder
and owner of Maine’s Fish House Cove resort properties,
he has overseen the development of a popular summer vacation
destination for discriminating travelers from around the
world. For the past 12 years, he’s maintained a
level of vacation services that has established a loyal
and returning clientele. His personal designs for each
Fish House Cove property include amenities that invite
entertaining on both a lavish and relaxed scale. His coastal
resort properties in Maine are sought for corporate meetings,
elaborate weddings, family reunions, and entertainment
star hideaways. He is also CEO of the Hoffman/Michaels
Marketing company that has raised millions in support
of major symphonies, ballet and opera companies, theatres,
and performing arts facilities nationwide. He is the former
Director of Marketing and Public Relations for award-winning
actress Olympia Dukakis’ Whole Theatre Company located
in metropolitan New York, and he personally produced several
successful summer concert seasons in New England. On the
West Coast, he was formerly in charge of support services
for Kaiser Permanente, then the largest health maintenance
organization in the country, and he owned a small, popular
European pensione in downtown San Francisco. Scott Michaels' varied experiences
combine to make him an expert in providing thoughtful
and exceptional customer service for Concierge-Worldwide
clients. He has also long been a committed supporter of
non-profit humanitarian organizations.
Director of Fundraising Sales
A career arts administrator, Barry Hoffman was Managing Director
of Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis, Studio Arena Theatre in Buffalo, Shea's
Buffalo and the Center for Music, Drama and Art in Lake
Placid, where he also served as Cultural Coordinator for
the Winter Olympics. He also was Interim Manager for the
Dallas Symphony, Concert Hall Manager at the Kennedy
Center in Washington, DC, and he managed more than a dozen
Broadway and off-Broadway shows in New York. The
national marketing and fundraising firm Hoffman/Michaels
Marketing, is a collaborative effort of Scott Michaels and
Barry Hoffman. Hoffman is also a past
president of the International Society
of Performing Arts Managers. In all, he has more
than 25 years of successful experience in
fundraising for non-profit organizations that include the performing arts,
museums, universities, health care facilities, and sports
organizations.
Director of Finance and Corporate Affairs
An attorney and financial expert, John Serpico is the
owner and principal of Serpico & Serpico, PC, a business
advisory, real estate, tax and estate planning law firm
based in New York City. His clientele of large
corporations and closely held businesses receive highly
personalized services delivered in an efficient, cost
effective and timely manner. He brings these skills to
Concierge-Worldwide Travel to ensure a lean corporate structure
that maximizes client services while also making a valuable
and important contribution to help non-profit
organizations thrive. Serpico
holds a B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania
and a J.D. degree from Villanova University School of
Law. He is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey,
Pennsylvania, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, and
the United States Tax Court. His application to the Florida
Bar is pending.
Director of Marketing
Suzi Hoffman was the
marketing specialist for the Smithsonian's National Zoological
Park in Washington, DC for several years, where she
served as Marketing Manager and senior writer for Friends
of the National Zoo. She then formed Suzi Hoffman Studio, working with clients
that include The Baltimore Sun, Washington Post/News
Week Group, several advertising agencies, corporations,
and a long list of not-for-profit organizations.
Working under Suzi Hoffman Studio, she has also served as
the Marketing/Fundraising Coordinator for Liz Lerman Dance
Exchange, Public Relations specialist
for the Publick Playhouse, a division of the
Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission,
and Senior
Writer for the many marketing and fundraising projects
for the Hoffman/Michaels Marketing and their long list of
prominent clients nationwide.
